Mr. Peter Kwablah Tetteh
MR. PETER KWABLAH TETTEH is currently the Acting. District Coordinating Director for Akyemansa District Assembly in the Eastern Region. He is a Chief Development Planning Officer by profession and his commitment and dedication to work has won him an envious reputation in the past twenty-one years in the Civil and local government service.
He has worked in five Districts Assemblies in two different Region (Northern and Eastern Region) in the capacity of a Development Planning Officer for nineteen years and Acting District Co-ordinating Director for two year He holds a Master of Arts in Local Government Administration from the Institute of Local Government Studies and a Bachelor of Art in Geography from University of Ghana and other relevant certificates.
The District Co-ordinating Director possesses an effective leadership and communication skills which gives him the ability to communicate in a variety of ways, from transmitting information to coaching his officers across roles, social identities, and many more. His participation in numerous professional programs and courses has earned him a respectable working experience in Ministry of Local Gov’t & Rural Development and Local Government Service as Chief Development Planning Officer for over twenty-one years at various MMDAs and in the Ghana Education Service as a Teacher and Ag. Head Teacher for about four years.
His practicalities of service organization and delivery brings people together to deal with shared problems and increase their say about decisions that affect their lives.
Presiding Member of Assembly
Hon. Agyapong Manu Emmanuel
The Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the district. They perform deliberative, legislative and executive functions and these functions are performed under the leadership of the Presiding Member. Hon. Agyapong Emmanuel Manu is the presiding member for Akyemansa District Assembly and has held the office since 2013 to date.
He is an elected assembly member for Odumasi electoral area in the Ayirebi Area council and has been serving since 2011 to date. He is a retired educationist and has served at the District Education Directorate of New Abirem and Akyem Ofoase as a Training Officer and Human Resource Manager for fourteenth years. Hon Emmanuel Agyapong holds Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) in Applied Linguistics at University of Education, Winneba and a Bachelor of Education in Arts Education at University of Cape Coast.
Hon Emmanuel Agyapong has developed successful working relationships and resultantly, an advantageous professional network through utilizing his communications skills when discharging his duties.
